Guidelines:
1. Remove oil stains from the surface of the new mesh stencil, apply a layer of DM adhesive evenly on the stencil as a base adhesive, and let it dry for later use.
2. For the used old mesh stencil recommend cleaning with a specialized mesh stencil cleaning agent to remove residual adhesive and oil stains. After drying, a layer of DM adhesive is evenly applied and dried for later use.
3. Stretch the net to make it in close contact with the stencil frame and achieve the required tension. Mesh with a mesh size of less than 120micron can be evenly coated with a thin layer of adhesive on the surface that is in contact with the stencil frame, and air dry for about 15 minutes (blown dry by a fan).
4. Feeling that the adhesive surface is not sticky to your hands, use a rubber scraper (not too hard, plastic is fine) to press and scrape the adhesive contact surface to ensure fully adhere, in order to achieve the best adhesive effect.
5. Loosen the mesh, cut off and rinse it with water and let it dry for later use.
DM rapid Adhesive & Screen bonding process for high mesh count:
1. Same as above guideline step, apply a thick layer of adhesive, first apply one layer of adhesive, fully air dry, then apply a second layer, air dry for later use.
2. Same as above guideline step.
3. Stretch the mesh to make it in close contact with the stencil frame and achieve the required tension. (Due to the high viscosity of DM, dilute it with toluene in a 1:1 ratio and stir evenly before use.) Apply a thin layer of adhesive on the surface of the mesh and stencil frame, and let it dry for about 15 minutes.
Important Notes:
1. New or used old mesh frames must ensure have a smooth surface before use. If the mesh stencil frame surface is uneven, it will seriously affect the strengtheners of the mesh. At the same time, the mesh stencil frame bonding surface must be thoroughly and evenly polished before use.
2. New mesh stencil frames must be degreased, used old frames must have their original glue removed, and it must be cleaned before use.
3. The optimal temperature for using adhesive mesh is ≥ 25 ℃, with a humidity between 50-70%. If the temperature is low, the drying time will be extended accordingly. If the humidity is lower than the drying time, it can be shortened accordingly depending on the situation. When the humidity is greater than 70%, the drying time should be extended accordingly. If necessary, infrared light can be used to illuminate together with fan blow drying.
4. Should pay extra attention for sudden cold weather, as moisture in the air may condense on the surface of the mesh stencil frame. Therefore, even if the humidity environment is not high, the mesh stencil frame should still be dried or used after being exposed to sunlight.
5. On rainy days or in spring, due to the humid air, in addition to handling the mesh stencil frame according to above normal procedures, extra attention should be paid to ensuring that the mesh stencil frame is dry before applying the bottom glue. When applying the mesh glue, a dehumidification device should be equipped or infrared light should be used to illuminate and blow dry with a fan as a safety measure.
6. The optimal oven temperature range is between 40-45 ℃. If it exceeds 50 ℃, the adhesive layer will begin to soften and is prone to mesh delamination.
